Anti-Theft Projector Cage

Or, extra protection for when the fear of Jesus doesn’t make thieves think twice!

Jesus Thwart The Steal

This projector cage was spotted in the multi-purpose room of an otherwise perfectly idyllic preschool. Gotta keep those five-year-olds honest!

The submitter also noted that music was provided via a microphone held next to a boombox.

Tip of the hat to GB!

The Best Screen is One That Works?

It appears that this broken projector was “fixed” by extending the signal cable down to a TV on a cart. Great cable management, guys!

Also, it would have been letterboxed content on a 4:3 screen, so I guess it’s better?

This Looks Much Better

That face you make when the video company’s lead asks a stagehand to clean up a c-stand with some duvateen.

Hat tip to JW for not killing them!

I’ll Bend Your Ear About The “Refurbished” Scaffold Planks

Recently we did some rear projection using Barco Cinema projectors.

These things are about 200lbs each.

The planks for the scaffolding were just recently replaced, and cheap plywood was used.

Friends, don’t use 3-ply 3/8″ for refurbishing scaffold decking. 5-ply marine-grade is what you want.

Tip of the hat to me, since I witnessed it!

Projector Obscura

I know they advertised their speakers as, “transparent, not adding any color to your sound,” but they don’t let the light through.

(Also, dat screen’s hourglass figure!!)
